Introduction to Remote Sensing with ENVI

If you are interested in using one of the standard software packages for remote sensing, Harris ENVI (environment for visualizing images), this is your workshop.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to…

  • understand the basics of remote sensing and potential applications
  • explore the spatial and spectral dimensions of imaging data with ENVI
  • understand how to perform basic image analysis tasks (masking, region-of-interest generation, classification, image statistic calculations, enhance image visualization)

Prerequisites: none

This workshop will be hosted online on Zoom and takes about 3 hours. Registration is open until noon on the day of the workshop. You will receive the Zoom link for the workshop as well as login information to connect to a virtual machine. The instructor will be Deep Inamdar.
