This workshop will provide attendees with an introduction to the open source geographic information systems (GIS) software QGIS. Attendees will learn the basics of GIS and how to visualize tabular data (e.g., data in the format of a spreadsheet) spatially on a map. No prior experience with QGIS, or knowledge about GIS, is necessary.
