Tour of the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering
Join us for a 45-minute tour of the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering! Housed in a 130-year-old historical building, the Schulich Library has recently undergone a complete restoration that thoughtfully combines timeless architectural charm with latest technology, making the library a true gem on our campus. Explore our vast collections, try our stimulating study spaces, and meet our friendly staff, all dedicated to enriching your life at McGill! Let’s meet at the Schulich Library’s Services Desk.
The Schulich Library is attached to the Frank Dawson Adams (FDA) Building. If you come down from the McConnell Engineering Building, take the FDA corridor, the Schulich Library is on your left before you reach the bridge leading to the lower campus grass. Due to the construction work outside the FDA Building, the bridge can be closed at times. If that happens, the Schulich Library is still accessible via the Macdonald-Harrington Building if you come from the lower campus grass side. Here is the how-to: enter the Macdonald-Harrington Building, take stairs on your left to the ground floor (only one level down). Turn left and in a few steps, you will see a sign on your right saying "Frank Dawson Adams Building →". Follow that direction. Once you get into the FDA hallway, you will see the Schulich Library entrance right in front of you.
