Following the first introductory Music RDM workshop, this session delves into the specifics of what is a data management plan (DMP) for music research and how to furnish one in support of a grant application. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

• describe the purpose of a DMP
• identify the elements and details to include in a DMP for music research
• furnish a basic DMP using a template
• locate DMP templates and examples
