Reading Count Regression Results

Reading Count Regression Results

Count regression models are used when your outcome is a count or, in other words, when you are investigating the predictors for the number of times an event occurs such as number of hospitalizations, number of uses for a specific service, number of headaches, etc. Learn how to read tables of count regression results produced by statistical software like R, SPSS, or Stata. This workshop will also provide an overview of count regression models, including what they are, how they differ from linear regression, and when it would be appropriate to use them.

Note: This workshop assumes that participants have used linear regression or have a general understanding of what it does.
