It’s Alive: Using Rare Books and Artifacts to Teach History

Please join the Quebec Library Association (AQBLA), the Jewish Public Library, and Rare Books and Special Collections at McGill Libraries for a workshop discussing key topics in special collections work. Featuring materials housed in Rare Books and Special Collections at McGill Libraries and the Archives and Special Collections of the Jewish Public Library, the workshop will explore how books and artifacts support teaching and learning about historical contexts, places, figures, events, and processes.

This is an in-person only event. Space is limited, so please RSVP to attend.

Speaker: Eddie Paul (Associate Director, Special Collections, Jewish Public Library); Ursula Carmichael (Liaison Librarian, Rare Books and Special Collections, McGill Libraries).
