Getting Started with AI in Research

While discussions about AI in academia have become common place in the last year, most concerns focus on its use in student assignments and plagiarism. Discussions are beginning to emerge about the potential uses of AI in faculty and student research. This workshop will provide information about different types of AI tools and how they can be used in research and feature potential use cases. Special attention will also be given to research considerations that can be exacerbated with AI such as privacy, reproducibility, bias, accuracy and intellectual property.
