Exhibit Vernissage and Celebration | Hinge Points: Gabor Szilasi's Photographic Angle

Version française à venir

You are warmly invited to a vernissage of Hinge Points: Gabor Szilasi’s Photographic Angle. On February 3 from 5-7pm, join us in celebrating Montreal based photographer Gabor Szilasi (1928-) and his photographic angle on Montreal.

Take in Szilasi’s angular, luminous photographs of Montreal’s changing streets, where older routes collide with new planning and architecture. Through sweeping panoramas, the exhibition lingers at irregular intersections and triangular corners - the “hinge points” where the city bends, adapts, and reveals its layered history.

All are welcome - whether you are an architect, photographer, student, longtime Montrealer, or simply curious about the ways cities grow and change, this exhibition opens the door to look a little longer at the corners you might usually pass by.

Location: McLennan Library Building, fourth floor lobby (3459 McTavish Street, Montreal, Quebec H3A 0C9)
